The Overview Of The Route.

The first step of your itinerary will be your arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport, which is located in the city of Kathmandu. One member of our team will be present to welcome you and subsequently accompany you to the lodging establishment. When you arrive at the hotel, you will have the opportunity to meet your guide. During this initial meeting, your guide will provide you with a brief overview of the plan for the following day. After completing your tasks, you have the option to use the remaining hours of the evening to unwind and de-stress, or to venture out and discover new places and experiences.

After that, you will need to board a plane to Lukla, which is followed by a trek to a quaint Sherpa village called Pakhding. You will be remaining in this location for the duration of the night. After you cross Monjo, you will continue on your journey towards Namche Bazar. This leg of the trip will take some time, but eventually you will arrive at your destination where you will spend the night. As you traverse the Sagarmatha National Park, you will eventually arrive at the charming village of Tashinga.

You will embark on a journey to visit the Tengboche monastery, which is a sacred site of great significance. Once the excursion is over, you will make your way back to Tashinga where you will spend the night. Additionally, during your journey, you will traverse through the quaint and charming sherpa villages of Khumjung and Mende before finally arriving at your destination of Thame. After completing the visa formalities and collecting your luggage at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), you will be met by a representative from Travel Umpire. They will transfer you to your hotel in a comfortable car or jeep.

During the transfer, your guide will give you an overview of the itinerary for the next day, as well as answer any questions you may have.

Upon arrival at your hotel, you will check in and have some time to relax. You may also want to take a short walk around the area to get your bearings.

In the evening, you will have a pre-trip meeting with your guide and the other members of your trekking team. This is a chance to get to know each other and to discuss the upcoming trek.

Helicopter Fly to Lukla (45 Min) & Trek to Phakding (2650 M, 3 Hours)

After breakfast at your hotel in Kathmandu, you will be transferred to the domestic airport in a luxury vehicle. Your morning helicopter flight to Lukla will take approximately 45 minutes.

Lukla is the gateway to the Everest region, and it is located at an altitude of 2,860 meters. After landing in Lukla, you will meet your local guide and porters. You will then have a cup of hot tea while the crew manages your luggage and climbing gear.

From Lukla, you will trek to the village of Phakding. The trek takes approximately 3-4 hours, and you will pass through beautiful villages, forests, and mountains along the way.

From Monjo, you will continue the ascent to Namche Bazaar. The trail is steep in places, but the views of the surrounding mountains are spectacular. If the weather is clear, you will be able to see Mount Everest, Lhotse, and Thamserku.

You will reach Phunki Thenga, a beautiful village with stunning views of the surrounding mountains. From Phunki Thenga, you will continue the ascent to Tengboche. The trail is steep in places, but the views of the surrounding mountains are spectacular. If the weather is clear, you will be able to see Mount Everest, Kangtega, Ama Dablam, and Tengi Ragi Tau.

Tengboche is a beautiful village with a large Buddhist monastery. You will have the opportunity to explore the monastery and attend the afternoon puja ceremony. In the morning, you will climb upward to the north for a pleasing view of Mount Ama Dablam and other mountains like Lhotse, Lhotse Shar, Taboche, Island Peak, and Cholatse. You will also have the opportunity to visit the Stone walls covering Imja valley and the World’s Highest Billiard Parlor.

In the afternoon, you will go for an acclimatization hike to either Chhukung Ri or Nangkartshang peak (also known as Nagarjun Hill). Most probably you will hike to Nagarjun Hill which is a 2-hour hike all the way to the top or a part of it.

The overall Dingboche valley pleases you with a cool and serene environment. In the whole day, you will walk for about 3-4 hours which is not much as compared to other days. You will spend time walking around exploring the Dingboche Village and observing the environment and its beauty.

After having breakfast in Gorakshep, you will be transferred to the helipad. The helicopter flight will take approximately 65 minutes, and you will have amazing flyover views of mountain ranges, green hills, cascades, glaciers, lakes, rivers, small or big houses and people, lights, and so on.

After reaching Kathmandu, you will be transferred to your hotel. You will be welcomed with typical Nepali cuisine and drinks along with comfortable accommodation. You can also visit nearby beautiful sights or you can have a rest.
