Nepal Festival & Events in November

Chhath Parva: On the night before Chhath Parva, devotees light lamps, sing songs, and sleep on the banks of rivers and ponds. They ask the sun to protect them from skin disorders. In Kathmandu, you can see the celebration at Rani Pokhari which is just 15 Minutes of walk from Thamel. Bala Chaturdashi: This festival falls on the fourteenth day of the dark lunar fortnight in November or early December. Mani Rimdu: It is a very important festival of the Sherpas, falls on the full moon day of Mangsir (Oct-Nov). Masked Lamas of the Khumbu region perform religious rituals during the festival and do dancing and singing as well.
